Born of a Scottish father and Swiss mother. His father traveled extensively as a foreign representative of an armaments
firm. Much of Bond's early education was spent abroad; he learned to speak fluent French and German at a young age. When Bond
was 11 years old, his parents were killed in a climbing accident in the Aiguilles Rouges above Chamonix. After the death of
his parents, Bond was raised by his aunt. He went to school at Eton but was asked to leave. The reason isn't exactly clear,
but it had to do with some sort of trouble with a maid.
James Bond is a SIS agent, formerly known as Mi6 and is Agent 007. Has been with them for almost 34 years. His weapon
of choice was formerly the Berreta, going to the Walther PPK, and now the Walther P99. His beverage of choice is a vodka martini,
shaken not stirred.
In deeper detail: Even those closest to him at MI6, the counter-intelligence wing of the British Secret Service, Bond
remains an enigma. A loner, with his own fierce code of honour, he seems to have been born to be a spy. An enerring ability
to think on his feet, superb fighting skills, and an unwavering commitment to any mission, however dangerous, have made him
the first agent that his boss, M, turns to in times of crisis. Of course, MI6 does not send their best man out "into the field"
without backup-Q Branch's hi-tech wizardry ensures that 007 always has a trick up his elegant sleeve.
Countless women have fallen for Bond, irresistibly drawn to his self confidence, his sense of style, his sardonic humor,
and the aura of danger that surrounds him. Yet none is allowed to get too close. For the world of international espionage
James Bond inhabits is one in which death might strike at any moment, where no one is truly innocent, and where everyone has
a secret agenda.
